Nadide is an index of the Turkish art market. We keep the records; galleries, museums and auction houses put the works in.

Where the numbers come from

Realised results arrive three ways: from a house’s own archive, from sources whose legal position is recorded, and hand-keyed from printed catalogues. Every record keeps its source, and a whole source can be retracted.

The correction rate

Published quarterly, and it is a number rather than a claim: corrections accepted over records touched. It will look bad early, and that is the point — it is the only evidence a catalogue can offer that it is maintained rather than scraped once.
